Tracy Letain
Tracy Letain, PhD is the microbiologist and product formulator behind Triologic, bringing decades of applied research in mycorrhizal fungi, microbial ecology, and plant–soil interactions into a commercially validated biological input. She holds a PhD in Microbiology from Washington State University and has over 25 years of experience spanning academic research, government laboratories, and agricultural product development, including work at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Berkeley National Laboratory, and the Pasteur Institute.
Tracy has led microbial fermentation, formulation, shelf-life validation, and regulatory-compliant manufacturing of biological products used in controlled environment agriculture and commercial crop systems. Her expertise includes root–microbe signaling, nutrient cycling, water quality, and translating complex microbiology into reliable, field-tested solutions. On the Front Row Ag blog, she communicates the science behind biological inputs—providing evidence-based insight into how microbial products function in real-world cultivation environments.
